Welcome.
We’re so glad you’re here.

While we don’t know each other yet, the fact that you’re on this page means we know you’re searching for help. It’s a great first step.

You’re a unique person. Just like snowflakes, no two people are alike – we’re all different. That’s why we’ll work to develop a tailored plan that meets you where you are and helps you get to where you want to be.

Let’s get to know your situation.

In an effort to direct you to the right place, we’d like you to click on the statement below that best describes your situation. Obviously, no two people are alike, so don’t worry if they’re not exactly your situation. Just pick one that makes the most sense.

Feel free to click on all of them – this is all about you and discovery.

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”

— ANAIS NIN

My emotions are intense and out of control. Things are painful and dark. I feel alone. I use drugs and alcohol to get through.

The most important thing for you to know right now is that you’re not alone.

Even though you may feel you have exhausted all your options, there is hope.

At MindSeed we approach you and therapy through a trauma-informed lens. Often people who find themselves matching the feelings in this section have experienced a mixed bag of small and big T traumas in their lives. You might be a good fit for our stability program.

This may show up as difficulty with your identity and self-worth, managing your emotions, and in relationships.

Likely, the way you coped and adapted to your earlier environment was pretty resourceful, but is causing you more problems now. We help you update those blueprints with new understandings and behaviours. Think: going from analog to digital.

    • Sometimes I hurt myself to relieve the pain I feel inside.

    • I have intense mood swings and it’s hard to come back to baseline.

    • I feel numb, frozen or sad a lot of the time.

    • I feel empty and lonely, even when I’m around others.

    • I often misuse drugs, alcohol, or prescriptions to get through the day.

    • I hate myself. I can’t ever get it together.

    • I have nightmares or memories about bad things that have happened to me.

    • I feel helpless, hopeless and desperate.

    • I binge eat, purge, restrict my food intake.

    • I act in ways that can be dangerous for me, like having unsafe sex with multiple partners, or reckless driving.

    • I feel pretty worthless and that I’ll never amount to anything.

Whatever the reason, we’re here to help.

Our work at MindSeed is to help you first find solid ground, then identify the source of your hurt and, together, help you heal and flourish.

I pretend to have it all together, but feel nervous or low a lot of the time. I don’t have the supports or relationships I want. I cope in unhealthy ways.

The things that you’re experiencing are real and valid. Together, we can develop a way to work through them.

At MindSeed we approach you and therapy through a trauma-informed lens.

Sometimes the culprit for your pain and dissatisfaction feels clear. Other times, you're not sure what really sparked how you're doing these days.

Even though, for the most part, you've been able to keep it together with your career or school, something still isn’t working well.

Exploring those early blueprints might make sense of the difficulties you're facing or how you're handling them. You might be best suited for our Transformation stage.

We know you're managing as best you can, but need some support and skills to help you overcome your current struggles.

    • I’m often putting on a mask for others. I can’t fully be myself.

    • I often feel like I’m not good enough.

    • I feel nervous a lot of the time, especially in social situations.

    • I keep finding the same kind of partner and repeating the same patterns.

    • I’d like to feel more satisfied and fulfilled at work.

    • My sleep is terrible – either I sleep way too much, or I can’t seem to get much sleep.

    • I feel nervous when I’m alone.

    • I have an unhealthy relationship with food and my body.

    • I can’t seem to control my shopping or gambling.

    • I’m often really hard on myself or others.

    • I don’t have as much joy as I’d like.

    • I’m just generally stressed or overwhelmed.

    • I can’t get over the loss of a loved one — either death or end of a relationship.

    • I worry about bad things happening to me or my loved ones.

    • I feel stagnant in life.

Whatever the reason, we’re here to help.

I never thought I’d need therapy, but something’s popped up. I’m having a hard time and need some help.

We all need support sometimes. Knowing when to ask for help is a strength.

Seeking professional support is something you never thought you’d have to do. Maybe you pride yourself on being the type of person that usually has it all together. But it’s natural to feel overwhelmed and need extra support sometimes.

At MindSeed we approach you and therapy through a trauma-informed lens. Even if the word trauma doesn’t resonate, using a trauma-informed lens lets us see you as more than just the sum of your problems. We look at all of you. The way we help you is tailored to who you are, how you’ve learned to cope with emotions, and manage things.

Combining skills and insights is the key to success.

    • I’m going through a divorce or a shift in my family structure.

    • I can’t get past the loss of a loved one — either death or end of a relationship.

    • I’m going through a major life transition.

      • I’ve lost my job.

      • I’m retiring.

      • I’m becoming an empty nester.

      • I don’t really know who I am anymore.

    • My relationship with my mom is often fraught with tension or conflict.

    • I just got a difficult health diagnosis.

Whatever the reason, we’re here to help.
